We’re currently between eclipses which is a very sensitive time.
The New Moon Solar Eclipse occurred on 20th April in Australia and two weeks later, on Saturday 6th May will be the Full Moon LUNAR ECLIPSE at almost 15 degrees SCORPIO
, when the Earth comes between the Sun and the Moon.
This is often a time of endings or something leaving our life. It’s time to let go of anything no longer serving our higher selves. The bright light of the Sun can hilight relationship issues which may surface for compromise (full moon = opposition)to be reached.
You may need to find compromise or balance between Scorpio (Moon) and Taurus (Sun). Watery Scorpio brings up deep and intense emotions whereas earthy Taurus is more grounded and practical.
In addition, the Sun is close to disruptive Uranus, so be prepared for unexpected events or maybe sudden realisations.
In time you will look back at this period and see how much you have changed and transformed.
MERCURY will station (stand still) on 16th May at nearly 6 degrees TAURUS, ready to go DIRECT again. While retrograde it’s a good time for introspection, planning etc rather than starting new projects, as things aren’t always clear. So after 16th May Mercurial issues (anything to do with the mind such as communication) will become clear again, and because Taurus is associated with our security – emotional, psychological and material – these issues could be in focus. We could ask, “how can I improve my financial situation?”
Two weeks after the Lunar Eclipse on Saturday 20th May we have a NEW MOON at 28 degrees TAURUS
.The eclipse season is officially over, but effects will definitely still be lingering.
A New Moon , when the Moon and Sun are together, often marks new beginnings. Because the light, and therefore energy, are not very bright we may not know yet how our new ventures are going to pan out. It will become more clear as the Moon waxes and increases in light and energy.
As this New Moon is in a happy sextile relationship with dreamy Neptune, we could opt for pursuing a spiritual path or journey. Remember to make your New Moon wishes.
The following evening, 21st May, the SUN moves from steady Taurus into flighty GEMINI
.
If you want to know something, ask a Gemini (that includes Gemini Moon or Ascendant). Chances are they’ll know the answer, and if they don’t they’ll make it up. That’s because Gemini is an Air sign always using the mind, wanting to glean as much information as possible and loving to pass it on. Much of their knowledge comes from them asking questions.
Some positive characteristics of Gemini are versatile, quick witted, dextrous, intellectual, while on the shadow side they can be restless, scatter brained, lacking concentration, gossipy.
Body parts associated with Gemini are the nervous system, arms, hands, shoulders, lungs.
Gemini is also a Mutable sign, which means they’re flexible, go with the flow, and don’t usually get stressed. They like to play tricks on you (Hermes/Mercury the Roman messenger god was a trickster)….. Mercury is the planet associated with Gemini. Gemini people can be like a breath of fresh air.
Happy birth month Gemini!
Love and blessings
